New CCS Letters and Pins Have Arrived 

Athletes earning letters and pins can pick them up in the school office this summer during office hours TWTH 9AM-2PM. You must bring your letter certificate to receive your letter and pins.

Nikolaj Murasov won the 800 M Regional Championship and qualified for the state championships at Middle Tennessee State this week! Good luck Kolaj!

Concord Classic Won in a Shoot Out! 

Mark Stooksbury, Tim Varney, Benji Shuler and Luke Cabbage shot a 50 and beat Shawn Mee, Tommy Bryant, and Brad Dye in a tie breaker to win the Concord Classic! Thank you men for your support!

CCS Soccer Wins 2 out of 3 District Playoff Matches To Advance To Regionals 

CCS Mens Soccer defeated TKA 4-1 and shut out Grace Christian 1-0 Saturday to qualify for Regional play in Chattanooga on Tuesday May 7th. Go Lions Soccer!!

CCS Football Team Honors Coach Matt McGlothlin 

Coach Ryan Bolinger and members of the CCS football team honored Coach Matt McGlothlin today at his celebration of life and funeral. Coach McGlothlin was honored as a man who was an ambassador for Christ and beloved family man and coach.

CCS Middle School Soccer Team Wins Conference Championship! 

Congratulations to the Boys MS Soccer team for a resounding 4-0 win over Lenoir City to win the Tennessee River Valley Conference Championship today. The team finished the season undefeated with a 9-0-2 record. Congrats Champion Soccer Team!

Mike Wilkins Joins Scott Graham to Lead CCS Basketball Program 

Athletic Director Bruce Johnson is excited to announce that Mike Wilkins will be the new Head Basketball Coach at CCS. Current Head Coach Scott Graham will stay on as the Associate Head Coach and Head JV Coach. Welcome Coach Mike and family!!

CCS Football Coach Matt McGlothlin Goes Home. Will be missed! 

We are deeply saddened by the passing of CCS Football Coach Matt McGlothlin. Coach McGothlin was loved by his players and all of us here at CCS. Although we grieve heavily his loss we are also filled with joy that Coach is home with Jesus Christ.

Mason Sparks and Colin Summie Lead CCS MS to Semi Finals! 

Outstanding pitching by Colin Summie and a key 2 RBI smash by Mason Sparks propelled the CCS Lions baseball team to an 11-7 win over Catholic to advance the Knox County MS Baseball Tournament Semi Finals on Monday night at 6:00 PM. Good luck Lions!

CCS Lion seniors Austin Davis, Seth Kenny and Peter Lin were honored as outstanding leaders on Senior Night and the Lions tied Carter HS 2-2 in a outstanding battle. Thank you men for your years of leadership!!

Manny Mauer picked up the win over Bearden.5-3 in tournament action with a stellar performance. Manny was aided by flawless defensive play and great base running including a delayed steal by William Dodson. Go Lions!!

Jacob Armour scored for the Lions tonight to lead the team to a 1-0 victory over Rockwood High School. The Lions move to 2-1-1 on the season.

8th Grader Jackson Vineyard Gets First Varsity Appearance On The Bump 

8th GraderJackson Vineyard registered his first mound appearance for the CCS Lions Varsity baseball team and followed two solid innings of relief pitching with his first RBI's driving in two runs! Jsckson starts for the Lions at shortstop.

Alie Tucker hit the first home run on the new CCS Softball Field and with her two run blast and game winning RBI led the Lions to an 8-7 walk off win over Oakdale last night.

The lady lions won two high scoring, back and forth battles with Pigeon Forge and Greenback before falling to a veteran Grainger County team at the Ripken Experience this past weekend! Go Lions!

William Dodson Tosses No Hitter To Beat Catholic 2-1 

Dodson led his CCS Middle School team by striking out 11 and allowing no hits in a 2-1 win over Catholic. Dodson with runners on second and third with no outs in the final stanza retired three in a row including 2 K's to secure the win.

CCS Varsity Baseball Ready For Season Opener 

"Building a Tradition-Construction Underway" is the CCS Varsity Baseball team's theme this year as they ready for opener on Monday. The team has been working with the MS team to help prepare CCS baseball for the future. The MS team is off to a 2-1 start.

Porter and Dodson Shine as MS Baseball Defeats Bearden 9-2 

Game balls were awarded to William Dobson who took just 74 pitches to throw a complete game no hitter and Manu Porter who drove in 5 runs with a pair of doubles as the CCS Middle School Baseball team defeated Bearden 9-2.

Track Team Ushers In Spring Season 

The Lions opened up the high school spring season with solid performances in the Track Jamboree. Nikolaj Murosav ran a 4:52 1600. Jacob McClure, Kanin Shull, Tim Zhao and Tate Brown ran well today in the 800.
